BOOKING PROCEDURE
In order to make a reservation for a water activity at Water Action School, you may proceed, by making an online booking through our web-site www.wateraction.gr .
From Client’s side, the booking intention is confirmed, when payment is paid by the Client or the Client’s representative.
From the Company’s side the booking is confirmed when full amount of the payment lands on its account. Subsequently, the Company shall confirm via e-mail the reservation and forward to the Client all the details of the reservation, i.e. water activity, number of participants, received amount.
PAYMENT METHOD
E-commerce
The Client herself/himself can proceed to the payment by charging her/his credit card. Subsequently, the Client shall receive a notification from the automatic Bank System for her/his transaction.
All card payments are processed through Eurobank’s e-Commerce electronic payment platform and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption protocol. Encryption is a way to encode the information until it reaches its intended recipient, which will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Once the payment is made, the reservation is confirmed. Subsequently the Client shall receive an e-mail, confirming the payment and the details of her/his reservation.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
– If you are pregnant, consult with your obstetrician, prior booking for any water sport.
– Please let us know if you have any medical condition, that may hinder with your choice of water sport.
– Please let us know, if you have difficulties in swimming.
In all cases the Client himself/herself acknowledges that she/he is in good health and physically capable of performing any of the water activities.
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
The Company has the following cancellation policy:
• If cancellation notice is received in written (by e-mail) 10 days or more prior to the reserved date, then the Client shall be 100% reimbursed.
• If cancellation notice is received 9 days or less prior to the reserved date, then the Client is not entitled to any reimbursement. The same applies on non-show cases.
CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY
The Company may cancel an activity, if circumstances beyond its control makes the activity’s performance impossible or dangerous, such as poor weather conditions and force majeure. In such cases, the Client will be fully reimbursed.
In case of bad weather conditions or other last-minutes factors, the company may also propose to reschedule the activity. It’s up to the Client to accept or refuse such changes. If the Client cannot attend the new proposed date, then she/he will be entitled to full reimbursement.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The visitor’s / user’s personal data administration and protection of the services of www.glassbottom.gr complies to the terms of the present section as well as to the relevant provisions of Greek Law (L. 2472/1997) on individual’s protection on the personal data protection as it has been supplemented by the decrees of the President of the Personal Data Protection Committee, the Decree-laws 207/1998 and 79/2000 as well as article 8 of L. 2819/2000) and the European law (directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC). The present terms are formulated taking under consideration both the rapid technological progress, and especially of Internet, and the already existing – although not fully developed – network of regulations concerning these issues. Within this framework, any relevant regulation will fall into the scope of the present section. In any case www.wateraction.gr reserves the right to change the personal data protection terms, after informing the visitors/ users and within the already existing or eventual legal framework. In case a visitor / user does not agree with the personal data protection terms provided for in the present section, should not use the services provided by www.wateraction.gr.
